Our famous Blackberry Jalapeño Margarita
Updated: Jan 6, 2021
This recipe is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I love the garden fresh taste that the jalapeño adds. This is the cocktail I made on the show "Pati's Mexican Kitchen" and it was published in a cocktail book we were featured in called "Drinking in".

Blackberry Jalapeño Margarita
2 oz Tequila
2 oz Fresh lime juice
1 oz Agave
5 Blackberries
2 slices of jalapeños
Place blackberries and agave in shaker and muddle
Add jalapeños to shaker and lightly muddle. If you like things spicy muddle them with the seeds. If you don't like too much spice take the seeds out and don't muddle the jalapeños.
Add fresh squeezed lime juice. The limes you find at the grocery store typically have 1 oz in each.
Add tequila. I prefer blanco in this cocktail and find Espolón to be great for the price point!
Shake with ice for 30 seconds
Strain into salt rimmed glass filled with ice
Garnish with a blackberry, lime wheel, or a slice of jalapeño and enjoy!
